Summary of GDS-1000 Series Features
The Instek GDS-1000 Series DSOs are low cost, general purpose, color display, 2-channel
digital storage oscilloscopes designed to meet educational and basic industrial requirements
without sacrificing important features. This series provides four selective bandwidths of 25MHz,
40MHz, 60MHz, and 100MHz.
The GDS-1000 series offers dual sampling modes, giving users two options of either 250MS/s
Real-Time sampling or 25GS/s high-speed equivalent sampling rate. What's more, with
high-speed wave handling capability, more advanced triggering functions, and 6 lb. light-weight
design, it is a powerful, cost effective DSO . Ultimately, the GDS-1000 series can be utilized
to replace many analog oscilloscopes, as well as old slower DSOs.
Several acquisition modes, and 19 auto measurement functions help the user accurately
measure waveforms. The advanced auto-set function allows the GDS-1000 Series to lock onto,
and display waveforms automatically. For Educators, the auto-set function can be disabled in
order to train students more effectively. Basic arithmetic and FFT functions are also included.
A total of 17 waveforms can be saved into the internal memory for later recall and display, and 2
reference waveforms plus 2 live waveforms can be shown on the screen at the same time for
comparison. SD card mass storage and USB device port are supported, providing storage/transfer
of measurement data and remote control operation.
